The California Water Action Collaborative (CWAC), convened and facilitated by Ag Innovations, is a platform for diverse stakeholders – including leading environmental organizations, companies in the food and beverage, retail and tech sectors, agricultural producers, and others – to come together and pursue collective action projects that will improve California’s water security for people, business, agriculture and nature.
With California the world’s fifth-largest economy, California’s business sector has a critical role to play in securing the state’s water future. It’s in this spirit that CWAC members are collaborating on designing, implementing, and scaling actions that collectively address the state’s most pressing water challenges.
Today, CWAC comprises over twenty organizations deeply committed to California’s shared water future. CWAC’s membership includes major non-profits, global companies, agricultural producers, responsible investors, and environmental foundations – all working together to transform ideas into actions that protect and enhance California’s most precious resource.
“In addition to the actual and opportunities for collective action, the personal relationships and connections made in the CWAC have been very valuable to our company’s work in California.”
“The many competing demands for California’s water breeds conflict and divisiveness. The forward-thinking, honest and open dialog across CWAC members provides a forum for crafting solutions that can break through the discord and lead to collective action that produces benefits for all. “
