A Crisis Calling for Community Action
2002 The task force produced a report entitled “Farm Worker Housing: A Crisis Calling for Community Action.” The report’s recommendations have been transformed into action! In January 2004, a Summit was attended by 300 people, half of whom signed up to support farm worker housing in their communities. In June 2004, the Ventura County Community Foundation provided a grant to fund a program, House Farm Workers!
