Ag Innovations Network’s Ventura County Ag Futures Alliance presents the 2012 Ventura County Agricultural Summit, Making Connections: How the Local Food Movement Can Support Ventura County Agriculture. The Summit will take place on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the historic Camarillo Ranch Barn from 8:00am to 3:30 pm in Camarillo, California.
Join us to identify opportunities and priority actions to keep agriculture viable in Ventura County and support the health and well-being of communities in our region.
Attending the Summit will be Ventura County farmers, ranchers, farm worker advocates, distributors, buyers, local chefs, policy makers, public health advocates and many others committed to keeping agriculture economically viable in Ventura County.
The Summit will feature a dynamic roster of presenters and panelists who will provide insight into current trends, challenges, and emerging market opportunities related to food and farming in our region. Plus, you won’t want to miss the locally grown lunch featuring fresh ingredients from Ventura County farmers.
